FutureAhead — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the app FutureAhead, also referred to as Future Ahead.

FutureAhead does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Data collection

• No account or sign-up is required.
• No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no third-party SDKs.
• The settings the app stores — the target date you choose and your optional wake / bedtime — are saved on your device in an App Group container.
• These settings are shared only with the app's own Home Screen / Lock Screen widgets and — if you use an Apple Watch — with the FutureAhead watch complication via Apple's on-device WatchConnectivity.
• None of this data ever leaves your devices and it is never sent to any server.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, FutureAhead reads your recent sleep data from Apple Health solely to suggest your wake and bedtime.

This reading happens entirely on your device. The data is only used to fill in those two times and is never stored separately, sent to any server, or shared.

You can decline Apple Health access and set the times manually instead. You can also revoke Apple Health access at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Health, or in the Apple Health app under Sharing / Apps and Services.

Data deletion

Because FutureAhead does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to request, correct, or delete from FutureAhead's servers.

Deleting the app removes the locally stored app settings from your device. If your device backup includes app data, Apple's iCloud or device backup settings may control whether a copy exists outside the app. FutureAhead does not control or access those backups.

Children's privacy

FutureAhead is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
